7th annual Team Borsheim Golf Tournament
All proceeds from the annual Team Borsheim Golf Tournament benefit the Les Borsheim Recovery Fund, which was established to help Les pay for the treatments involved in his recovery following a June, 2008 motorcycle accident that left him severely paralyzed.
Since the accident, Borsheim, a former Colorado Eagles player, has shown the same strength and determination that made him a fan favorite on the ice, as he’s battled back to regain small movements and the independence necessary to continue living his life to the fullest – but he couldn’t do it without the support from you!
After spending time at the World-renowned Craig Rehabilitation Hospital outside of Denver, Borsheim returned to Windsor where he has remained a positive presence in both the Eagles’ and Northern Colorado’s communities.
Please join us and show your support for Les by taking part in this year’s benefit golf tournament to be held on Friday, August 28th at Pelican Lakes Golf & Country Club at Windsor’s Water Valley. The tournament will be a scramble format with a 1 p.m. shotgun start and will include the fun & entertainment that fans have come to love & expect, a small lunch lunch will be provided, a silent auction featuring several fantastic items, and a post-tournament banquet dinner & prize ceremony.
